Robert entered the Financial Services industry in 1980. He was previously a director of a successful IFA firm before joining forces with Geoff Hartnell to form Vintage. Robert was instrumental in setting up Vintage Asset Management and has developed key professional connections over the years.

Qualified in advanced pension planning, Robert has a broad knowledge of both personal and corporate pensions. His technical expertise and work ethic enable him to advise both individual clients and corporations.

Geoff has spent more than 40 years working in the financial services industry, specialising in employee benefits and investment markets. He is an experienced corporate adviser and has several clients with payrolls in excess of 1000 staff.

Geoff’s extensive knowledge of the industry and exceptional communication skills have been fundamental in cementing long-term relationships with his clients.

Chief Executive Officer SMF1 & SMF3

Over the course of a prestigious career in the financial services industry spanning four decades, John has managed private client and institutional funds across the global equity markets. He successfully established a Wealth Management business for Brachers, a leading firm of Kent solicitors. Prior to that, he was a Director of Aberdeen Asset Management, with responsibility for managing the group’s investments in continental Europe.

In 2006, John co-founded European Wealth, which grew funds under management to £1.75bn by 2017, when he left to establish Broad Street Asset Management. He joined Vintage Wealth Management in November 2019 as Chief Executive Officer where he brings expertise, commitment and a successful track record of overseeing significant change and business growth management to the role.

Chief Operating Officer

Lee is a Senior Financial Planner and Chief Operations Officer within Vintage Wealth Management. He manages a client bank, sits on the Investment Committee, and helps with business strategy.

He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, and qualified Investment Manager dealing with high net worth clients. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial planning and accountancy industry.

Lee was a Director of the Investment Management group of BDO where he worked until 2005. He was a partner of Nyman Libson Paul Chartered Accountants and founder and Chief Operations Officer of the NLP Financial Management Group which he sold in March 2021. He continued working at the NLP Financial Management Group until October 2023.

Lee has developed several investment opportunities for clients with one property development investment worth over £250 million. Whilst managing various financial management businesses he has always maintained an extensive client bank.

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Bernard has spent over 30 years in Financial Services, working with big-name brands like Prudential, AXA and Scottish Widows.

For the last 15 years, he’s been leading from the front at senior and director level, helping teams grow, businesses scale, and good ideas actually get off the ground. At Vintage Wealth, Bernard focuses on unlocking new opportunities for the business and making sure our joint ventures run smoothly.

Backed by industry-recognised qualifications, plus credentials in change management and Project Management – Bernard is big on doing things with momentum and a future-focused mindset.

Director of Operations

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Darryl has developed extensive expertise in the provision of holistic financial advice and operational leadership. His career encompasses roles as a paraplanner and adviser within a major accountancy practice, as well as strategic involvement in the management, operations, and growth of financial advisory firms. Having joined Vintage Wealth Management in 2013, Darryl has played a pivotal role across all facets of the business. He initially led the technical and compliance department, offering guidance and support to advisers, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and regulatory adherence.

Now, as Director of Operations, Darryl oversees the firm’s day-to-day operational functions, including team leadership, process optimisation, compliance management, and strategic delivery. Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and continuous drive for improvement, he is dedicated to enhancing efficiency, mitigating risk, and ensuring consistently high-quality client service. His collaborative leadership style ensures seamless coordination across the organisation, supporting Vintage Wealth Management’s sustained growth and commitment to excellence.

Investment Director

Edward joined VAM in 2014 and is a Board director. He has some thirty years' experience in investment management starting at Threadneedle, then as a derivatives manager at Gartmore. He spent six years in investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, before joining Commerzbank as a senior portfolio manager, and most recently was responsible for portfolio management at Commonwealth Capital Management. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Head of Risk & Compliance

Dean Kidd boasts nearly a decade of experience in Compliance within the wealth and asset management sector, having held positions at both large corporations and medium-sized, rapidly expanding firms. His experience spans across a variety of industries, showcasing his versatility and adaptability in different work environments.

With a strong background as a Compliance Manager, Dean brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vintage. Currently serving as the Head of Risk and Compliance for all Vintage companies, he holds the SMF16 Compliance Oversight and SMF17 MLRO functions.

Dean’s role is vital in ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with regulations and has played a pivotal role in driving the growth objectives of the Vintage Group of Companies.

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Dipesh Patel is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions. His career spans over 20 years’ experience in and around the financial services arena.

Prior to joining Vintage in 2023, Dipesh served as the Financial Controller for Citihub Limited, an IT consultancy company focused in the financial services sector where had been for over 13 years. During this time he helped grow the company exponentially which lead to it being acquired. Before that he served as the Financial Controller for a prominent mortgage packaging company.

Head of Group Marketing

Ariella is constantly pushing boundaries in the marketing field, with a vision to revolutionize the financial services industry. One of her key experiences in her career working as a product buyer has provided her with invaluable insights into what drives product sales. Ariella’s unique blend of business acumen and innovation allows her to conceptualize ideas that transform ordinary products and services into must-have items, fostering brand loyalty and memorable brand experiences, setting her apart in the industry.

Head of Policy Servicing

Debbie has more than 40 years’ experience working in the financial services industry on the administrative side. After years spent working for a life company, in direct sales and for an IFA, she joined Vintage Wealth in 2013 when her previous employer, BKL Wealth Management, merged with Vintage.

Using her strong organisational skills and ability to always keep a cool head under pressure, Debbie ensures the day-to-day smooth running of the Policy Servicing team.

Head of Systems & Processes

Gemma joined Vintage in 2006 as an office junior after graduating from university. She spent four years working in the Private Medical Insurance department before undertaking a six-month data cleansing project.

Gemma ensures the smooth running of our CRM system and management reporting.

Head of Commercial Finance

Joel began his career in the property industry in 2012, starting out in residential agency just down the road from our offices in Finchley Central before moving on to Hampstead and Little Venice.

After four years of selling some of the capital’s most exclusive homes, he decided to move across to the specialist property finance space in 2016 where he has established relationships with a range of mainstream lenders, international and private banks, and smaller niche funders. His main specialist areas are bridging finance, development finance and commercial mortgages and many of his clients are repeat borrowers, some of whom have known him from his time in agency. Joel enjoys working with property investors and developers to understand their funding requirements and identify the best outcomes for them.

Outside of work Joel loves spending time with his young family and is a passionate supporter of Arsenal FC.

Head of Paraplanning

Marcus joined Vintage in 2012 on an apprenticeship scheme. On completion of the apprenticeship, Marcus was employed in a full-time capacity covering the new business, policy servicing and reviews department and has progressed to co-managing the Paraplanning department. Some of Marcus’ responsibilities include reviewing and improving internal processes, training and mentoring.

Marcus holds the diploma in regulated financial planning, certificate in equity release and mortgage advice, award in long term care insurance and is currently working towards chartered status.

Stuart offers over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having initially spent a significant portion of his career with a prominent national Life Office. He later transitioned to the independent financial advice sector, where he has made a substantial impact. In 2015, Stuart joined Vintage as a Paraplanner and has since advanced to the position of Head of Paraplanning.

Outside of his professional commitments, Stuart enjoys socializing with friends, attending music events, and embarking on walking excursions. Stuart's vibrant personality, combined with his professionalism in the workplace, makes him an invaluable asset to the Vintage team.

Head of Mortgages

Pauline boasts a remarkable 35 years of experience within the financial services industry. Her career journey began at renowned high-street banks including Barclays and Bank of Ireland, where she honed her skills in financial planning, investments, and mortgages. Pauline has an impressive 30 years of experience as a mortgage broker, specialising in tailored borrowing solutions to meet her clients unique financial and personal needs.

Pauline joined Vintage in 2012 and quickly progressed to assume the role of Head of Mortgages in 2015. She takes prides in delivering professional, ethical, and honest advice, all while maintaining a high level of customer service. Navigating the complexities of the mortgage market can be daunting, but with Pauline’s comprehensive knowledge and unwavering dedication, she is committed to identifying the lender that aligns best with her clients’ financial and personal objectives.

Head of New Business

Reena has been with Vintage since 2004, where she began her journey as a receptionist. Over the years she has navigated through various departments, honing and gaining a vast array of skills and accumulating indispensable knowledge along the way.

Today, she proudly serves as the head of new business, leveraging her experience and insight to drive innovative strategies and foster growth. Renowned for her keen ability to identify opportunities, Reena tackles challenges with expertise and enthusiasm. Her vibrant energy infuses everything she undertakes, making her a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of work she enjoys playing pool, dancing and socialising with friends, proving that a strong work ethic can coexist with a lively spirit. Whether brainstorming new ideas or enjoying a night out, Reena brings her vibrant energy to everything she does.

Ria spearheaded the Human Resources function at Vintage and has a wealth of experience in the field of HR including employee relations/engagement, T &D, talent acquisition, coaching, mentoring, wellbeing and creating HR policy to enable the organisation to achieve its people goals. With a hands-on approach to HR, Ria is dedicated to positively impacting a company culture where employees thrive and are proud of their contribution to the overall success of the company.

Adrian joined Vintage in the summer of 2025 after 18 years working in sales and account management in digital advertising.  He is level 4 qualified and is working towards becoming chartered.  Outside of work Adrian enjoys live music and comedy, travelling and watching his team West Ham. 

Consultant Solicitor

Amaar is a consultant Solicitor at Vintage, providing comprehensive legal advice and solutions to our clients in-house, ensuring that our intimate knowledge of our clients’ financial needs and circumstances is fully reflected in the legal services he offers. Amaar’s practice is focused on Private Client services including estate planning and inheritance tax mitigation solutions; advising on and setting up wills, trusts and powers of attorney.

Working with our external law firm, he also facilitates our estate management service at a difficult time for our clients’ families, including with inheritance tax returns to HMRC, applications to the Courts for the Grant of Probate, and to the Land Registry for giving effect to inheritance and trust arrangements.

Amaar also assists our clients’ businesses with commercial contracts and advice on complex corporate and tax transactions.

Over the past 15 years, Amaar has helped innumerable start-ups and established family businesses alike to scale up to their full potential and provided holistic estate planning advice that takes accounts of personal and business finances. Initially specialising in project finance and international commercial law, Amaar has also served as a judicial assistant in a constitutional court and worked for seven years as a UK civil servant. This included acting as an Adjudicator for disputes brought to the Housing Ombudsman and as the lead investigator for UK tariffs under the WTO system. Amaar most recently served as a policy and strategy adviser to the British Government on international trade for three years.

He also holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) and a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has lived and worked in five countries and speaks seven languages.

Angela brings over 21 years of experience in administration within the financial services sector, having worked for various esteemed companies. She has been a valued member of Vintage Wealth Management Ltd since 2014.

With her extensive background as an administrator, Angela contributes a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vintage. She is currently responsible for the administrative functions of Robert Stein’s team and has recently taken on the role of PA to the Director, Robert Stein.
